What: North Toronto Soccer Club is partnering with Special Olympics Ontario to present Special Olympics Soccer Skills for players ages 7 to 18 who have an intellectual disability. DSAT's PAL 0-3 & Breakfast Television Join DSAT live on Breakfast Television at Miles Nadal JCC on Tuesday Oct 20th at 7:20 am. Miles Nadal JCC will be speaking with Breakfast Television about their inclusive programming and their partnership with DSAT. Those families in attendance will have their name entered into a draw for a $50 Toys R Us gift card. Families will also be given passes to use at the fitness centre on a later date. OCD involves unwanted and disturbing thoughts, images, or urges (obsessions) that intrude into an individual’s mind and cause a great deal of anxiety or discomfort, which the individual then tries to reduce by engaging in repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions). The Culinary Employment Skills Program is a 9-month certificate program through Christian Horizons in partnership with Humber College. The student's gain meaningful skills that give them the opportunity to work as a prep cook upon graduation. PAL 20+ Launch - Swiss Chalet Dinner and Social This August, DSAT is launching the first ever PAL 20+ program. The program will be structured much like our PAL 1319 events and will include an event once per month on a Friday evening. Mom's Night Out DSAT is excited to launch Mom's night out. These events are for our diverse community of mothers, or female caregivers, who take an active role in our children’s lives. These events will create an opportunity to make real-life connections with other parents/caregivers, trade stories, share experiences, advising, encouraging, and supporting one another in a very relaxed social atmosphere.
