We got 2 Executive Producer credits, the option of shadowing the whole production, 2 Associate Producer Credits available and private dinners with the cast of the film. Thank you all once again for your support towards this project. Without your contributions we wouldn't be able to shoot this film next month and my dream for the last 4 years wouldn't be coming...

Kus, who has Down syndrome, has been mentored by Clayton for four years at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School through the Best Buddies program, a Canada-wide initiative that breaks down barriers for the intellectually disabled.   As an athlete who has Trisomy 21, Down syndrome, I attended my first Down syndrome International Swimming competition in 2012 in Loano, Italy and won the world gold for Canada. I was the only athlete to compete in synchro from Canada and the only athlete in the world to compete in both synchro and speed swimming. I won 2 silver and three bronze international medals in speed swimming. Our 4 X 100 m women's relay made a new America's record. In November of 2014, I plan to attend the world championships again, this time in Morelia, Mexico, where I will defend my gold medal. As the only synchro swimmer from Canada attending this competition, I am not only responsible for the cost of my travel and accommodation but that of my coach. I am raising money to cover these costs. My parents have mainly covered my expenses, but this year...

Amalgamated Zoning By-Law Tell Your City Councillor! In April, the City’s Planning & Growth Committee will be holding consultations on the amalgamated zoning by-law, in particular impacts on group homes and residences. There is a chance that the committee will re-introduce a 250m distancing requirement, despite counsel from the Ontario Human Rights Commission discouraging such a requirement. We need our members to tell Toronto City Councillors, particularly those on the Planning & Growth Committee, that distancing requirements for group homes contravene Human Rights! Please tell your councillor that: People with an intellectual disability have a right to live in the communities of their choosing, in the neighbourhoods they want and with the people they want.People with disabilities have been living, as of right, in communities all across Toronto since the 1970’s, without incident, without objection from their neighbours.Toronto is one of the most diverse cities in the world, and that is...
