Brothers and sisters of an individual with Down syndrome are aware of their sibling’s unique challenges. With parents aging, siblings step in to care for their brother or sister with Down Syndrome. Siblings provide a range of benefits for their brother or sister with Down Syndrome such as being a role model, social coach, mentor and companion. As a sibling, this can be an isolating experience. Connect with other siblings who will understand and support you through the Sibling Network.
