Although managed by DSAT, Toronto Challenger Baseball is open to athletes of all abilities and/or special needs.

Toronto Challenger Baseball is a program that provides individuals with cognitive or physical disabilities an opportunity to enjoy the full benefits of participating in baseball at a level structured to their abilities. Buddies/volunteers are assigned to each player to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience and to assist players with all aspects of the game.

The program aims to teach individuals, 4 to 22 years of age, the core life skills inherent to baseball, including teamwork, communication, determination, resiliency, inclusion, independence, confidence, self-esteem, social skills and courage.
