Please review and agree to these rules before registering for Dance Rock™

  1. You must wait outside if you come before 7:20. The dance starts at 7:30.
  2. The doors will close at 8:30 pm and you cannot come in after that. Everyone must be picked up at 9:30. Please make sure you make plans to be picked up by then.
  3. We do not have support people for our guests. If you bring a support person with you, we will give them a free ticket.
  4. You must register before the dance. When you register, you must give us information about how to contact your family or support person.
  5. All people who come to the dance must follow rules about how they behave. This is called our Code of Conduct.
  6. If you do not follow the Code of Conduct you will be warned once. If you keep acting in a way that breaks the rules at the dance, we can ask you to leave. We may also tell you that you cannot come to our next events.

DSAT Code of Conduct

The Down Syndrome Society of Toronto (DSAT) wants to make sure that our programs are a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. Everybody who comes to our programs must follow our rules.

Respect and Inclusion:

  • Treat everybody respectfully. Make everyone feel welcome.

Behavior and Conduct:

  • Everyone must behave appropriately when they are at DSAT programs. Do not do anything that will harm or bother any other guests.

Safety and Well-being:

  • Make sure everyone is safe. Come and tell a DSAT volunteer if another participant is behaving in a way that makes other people uncomfortable.

Personal Boundaries:

  • Always respect other people and do not touch others without asking if it is okay.

Alcohol and Substance Use:

  • You cannot smoke at DSAT events.
  • You cannot bring alcohol or drugs to DSAT events.

Assistance and Support:

  • Help other people at DSAT events if they need help finding where to go.
  • Help other people to participate in the activities if they need it.

Compliance with Event Policies:

  • Make sure you always follow all the rules.
  • People who do not follow the rules have to leave.

Have Fun and Enjoy the Event:

  • We want to make sure everyone has fun and has great memories about DSAT programs.

When you register for a DSAT event you agree with our Code of Conduct. We want everyone to be included. Thank you for your support to making our programs a success!
